Education:

Dr. Jason completed his Chiropractic pre-requisites at Joliet Junior College and Governors State University. He then received his bachelors of science and doctorate of chiropractic degrees from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, graduating Cum Laude. Dr. Jason has additional training in Radiology after completing an 8-month internship in the Clinical Radiology Department at Palmer and has had additional training and experience with pediatric patients through his Palmer Clinic Abroad trip to serve children of all ages on the Caribbean island of Bequia.

Chiropractic Care:

In addition to Palmer-Package Chiropractic Techniques, Dr. Jason is certified in Receptor-Tonus Technique (commonly known as Nimmo Technique). This is a soft-tissue/muscle therapy in which Dr. Jason smoothes out and relieves trigger points in muscles using manual pressure which releases built-up lactic acid from the muscle and allows it to return to its optimum function.

He is also board-certified to practice Physiotherapy and focuses on activating inhibited muscles and stretching overactive muscles through therapy and exercises in order to enable the body to remain in place after adjustments.

He also has had additional training and experience in the following techniques as well:

  • Gonstead
  • Activator
  • Logan Basic
  • Thompson
  • Flexion-Distraction
  • Pettibon

My History:

Having a chiropractor for a father kept me “well-adjusted” throughout childhood and adolescence. When I was about 20 years old, I was in a ‘T-bone’ car accident that left me hanging out the driver’s door window, and my neck was injured. I had almost no range of motion and double vision. After the swelling had diminished, I was treated by my father, and after he adjusted my neck, my range of motion and my vision was restored! I had always envisioned joining my father as a chiropractor one day, but that experience strengthened my resolve. I slowly completed pre-requisite college courses while working as a Direct Sales Manager at Allstate Insurance until I was accepted to Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2011. I joined Lincoln-Way Chiropractic in 2014 and am very excited to help the extended New Lenox community restore function, relieve pain, and achieve wellness!

Personal:
